ICYMI: 3 Fatal Crashes In 12 Hours In Pasco: FHP
Authorities say two drivers and one pedestrian were killed in separate incidents over a period of less than 12 hours in Pasco County.
PASCO COUNTY, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol released information on three separate traffic crashes in Pasco County between 6:40 p.m. Monday and 6:10 a.m. Tuesday, each of which resulted in a death. The victims' families have been notified.
Monday, Feb. 10
Police say Kevin Guerin, 63, of Port Richey, was crossing Little Road south of Cricket Street around 6:40 p.m. when he was hit by a Mercury Sable and then a Toyota Tacoma, each driving in the center lane. Alcohol was not a factor. Guerin was killed in the accident. Police have released no information on whether the drivers have been, or will be, charged.

Police say Edward Joel Perez, 18, of Port Richey, was driving a Toyota Corolla north on US-19 north of Sea Ranch Drive. For an unknown reason, around 11:30 p.m., he lost control of the car, crossed the center median into the path of a GMC Denali, which hit the Corolla. Both vehicles spun out and came to a stop. Alcohol was not a factor. Perez was killed in the accident.

Police say Chance Duvall, 24, of Winter Garden, was driving a Toyota Camry south on US-98, north of CR-54. Around 6:10 a.m., he was passing another car when he crashed head-on into a tractor trailer rock hauler, driven by a Plant City man. Alcohol was not a factor Duvall was killed in the accident.
