PASCO COUNTY, FL — About 349 pounds of prescription drugs were collected by the Pasco County Sheriff's Office during the Drug Take-Back Day, hosted by the sheriff's office in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Agency.

On Oct. 29, residents were invited to drop off their unused and expired medication to be properly disposed of and kept out of the wrong hands.

Volunteers and members of the sheriff's office collected the old prescriptions.
