$45M Winning FL Lotto Ticket Sold In New Port Richey: FL Lottery

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — The $45 million jackpot-winning ticket in Florida Lotto’s Wednesday night drawing was sold in New Port Richey, according to the Florida Lottery website.

The winning ticket, which matched all six numbers pulled - 7, 12, 15, 18, 25 and 53 - was sold at Coastal Wine & Liquor at 6706 US Highway 19.

After taxes, the winner, whose name hasn’t been released yet, will take home about $25,000,000.

Roma Patel, whose family owns the store, told Fox 13 that the winner has been a regular customer for 15 years and has been playing the same Florida Lotto numbers for 27 years.

"He woke up and was like, ‘I couldn’t sleep all night,'" Patel said. "He’s like, ‘Can you please check this for me?’ We check it and he won. He was so excited."

There were no winners in Wednesday's Double Play drawing. The winning numbers for that drawing were 8, 18, 19, 31, 34 and 51.

The next Florida Lotto drawing is Saturday with an estimated jackpot of $1 million.
