Breweries Battle For Best Chili Honors Saturday At Stadium In New Port Richey

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — Tampa Bay Breweries will battle for best chili honors at the fourth annual Battle of the Breweries Chili Cook-Off Sunday, Feb. 6 from noon to 5 p.m.

Lovers of spicy beer and its perfect complement — craft beer — are invited to come out and vote for the chili concoctions prepared by 15 breweries at the Stadium, 2349 Seven Springs Blvd., New Port Richey.

Each brewery will bring along a specialty craft beer to serve with the chili.

Participating breweries include 3 Daughters, Big Storm, Bold City, Brew Bus Florida Avenue, Coppertail, Escape, Founders, Funky Buddah, Green Bench, Golden Road, Islamorada, Marker 48, Sugarlands Distilling, Tampa Bay Brewing Company and Two Frogs.

The $10 admission includes chili and two beers.

Proceeds will benefit the Early Learning Coalition of Pasco-Hernando.
