5 Things You Should Know Today, Sept. 23

1.     It could feel as hot as 99 today due to the heat index. Again.  The actual temperature will reach a high near 90. It will be partly sunny with a chance of rain and thunderstorms after 2 p.m.

2.     New Port Richey city officials are slated to meet at 2 p.m. at City Hall on Friday with representatives from the Pasco Economic Development Council  and Community Hospital, which is planning to move most of its operations to a new facility in Trinity in November.

4.      A new TCBY is celebrating its grand opening in Trinity Sunday at  3140 Little Road (Mitchell Ranch Plaza).  Customers visiting from 12 p.m.-8 p.m. get the first 5 ounces of frozen yogurt free.

5.   The Richey Suncoast Theatre's production of Cabaret can be seen today and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
