A 20-year-old man faces attempted murder charges following a Wednesday shooting in Holiday.

HOLIDAY, FL — One 20-year-old man faces attempted murder charges as Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies continue to search for a second suspect in a Wednesday shooting in Holiday.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies were called to the 2000 block of Pleasure Drive just before 11:50 a.m. May 3 about a disturbance. When they arrived, they learned that Taylor Cope, 29, and Molly Hall, 28, were in a driveway when Cope saw two people running up to the vehicle he was in.

Cope, the agency reported in an email to media, told Hall, who was driving to leave. As she was pulling out of the driveway, Hall struck an unrelated van and then hit the suspects’ vehicle, the email noted.

“During this, two shots were fired into the victims’ vehicle,” the sheriff’s office reported. One of the bullets grazed Cope’s left shoulder, deputies reported.

The suspects fled the scene after the shooting in a silver SUV.

As deputies were searching for suspects, they say Robert Emery turned himself into authorities. He faces three counts of attempted murder and shooting into an occupied vehicle.

Deputies are still looking for the second suspect in the shooting. Authorities have not released information about the suspect as of yet.

Emery was booked into the Land O’ Lakes Jail early Thursday morning. Further details about his arrest are not yet available.
