Attempted Child Abduction Reported In Holiday: Deputies

Deputies are searching for a man who attempted to grab an 10-year-old child off her bicycle

HOLIDAY, FL - Pasco County sheriff's deputies are searching for a man who attempted to grab an 10-year-old child off her bicycle about 5 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Whippoorwill Drive and Jarvis St. in the Colonial Hills area of Holiday, deputies said.

The suspect was described as a short adult with a medium build, possibly middle aged, dark longer hair touching the shoulders, full scruffy beard with some bald spots with gray hair mixed in the dark hair, wearing a light blue shirt with holes in it, light colored shorts, gray socks and no shoes.

The man is a light-skinned Hispanic male or a darker skinned white male, deputies said. The sheriff's office provided a sketch of the suspect to the media Friday morning.
