Benefit for 2-Year-Old Amputee Ireland Nugent on Saturday

Looking for something to do this weekend that will help a child?

There's a local benefit on that aids Palm Harbor amputee Ireland Nugent. She's the 2-year-old whose ankles were severed in a lawnmower accident back in April.

If you don't know how to bowl, that is

  • The fundraiser will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Seven Springs Golf and Country Club at 3535 Trophy Boulevard in New Port Richey.
  • A wide variety of vendors and local businesses will be at the event. A raffle and private donations will be donated to the Ireland Nugent Trust.
If you can't make it to the events, but would still like to help Ireland and her family out. You can make a donation on Ireland's website, which also has additional information about her progress and lists fundraising events.
