Bicyclist Killed In Pasco County Hit-&-Run Crash, Suspect Wanted: FHP
Troopers said a 45-year-old Hudson man was fatally struck while riding a bike on Scenic Drive, north of Jasmine Boulevard in New Port Richey
NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol are on the lookout for a driver accused of fatally striking a bicyclist during a hit-and-run crash.
On Sunday at 8:30 a.m., FHP troopers said they responded to a crash involving a bicyclist who was struck on Scenic Drive, north of Jasmine Boulevard in New Port Richey. Troopers believe the crash actually happened Friday or Saturday.
Troopers said the 45-year-old Hudson man suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash. The suspect fled the scene following the collision.

"Evidence recovered from the crash scene indicates that the suspect vehicle is a Remington Red Metallic or similar maroon color 2014 or 2015 Kia Sorento," Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release.
