SoFresh Opens in Trinity

SoFresh has opened at 3144 Little Road in Trinity, according to its Facebook page.

The eatery is open daily for lunch and dinner from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The restaurant serves “chef-crafted bowls, wraps (and) salads,” the company said.

Big Storm Brewing Closes Odessa Taphouse

Big Storm Brewing served its last customer at its Odessa taphouse, permanently closing on May 18.

The company announced the closure “with mixed emotions” in a Facebook post, though it didn’t provide the reason for the taproom’s closing.

“We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support over the nearly 10 years we've been part of the Pasco community. Your patronage has meant the world to us,” the company wrote. “Over the past decade, Pasco County has blossomed, offering many new and exciting places for families to gather for food and drink. We are proud to have been part of this growth and thrilled that our beers (and spirits) are featured in many of these fantastic establishments.”

Food Hall Planned in Trinity

Escape Brewing Company owners, which is based in Trinity, will bring a new food hall to the area.

The 18,000-square-foot Collective is slated to open in August, Suncoast News reported.

It will offer a range of chef-driven food vendors, Escape beer and a 4,000-square-foot outdoor beer garden.

Shake-A-Salad Opens Second Location

Shake-A-Salad will celebrate the grand opening of its second location, which is at 9822 Little Road, New Port Richey, in the Golden acres shopping plaza, Saturday, 1 to 3 p.m.

The eatery serves salads, wraps, bowls and wings. It makes its homemade salad dressings with fresh herbs and spices, according to its Facebook page.

The local chain’s original location is at 5817 Goldview Parkway in Wesley Chapel.

Harold Seltzers Closes Port Richey Location

Harold Seltzers Steakhouse closed its Port Richey location at the Gulf View Square Mall for good on May 19.

The company announced the closure with “a heavy heart” in a May 18 Facebook post.

“It has been my honor and privilege to serve the people of the greater Port Richey area, both since 2002 as Sam’s and since 2010 as Harold’s,” the owner wrote.

The St. Petersburg location in the Tyrone area remains open. Spot On reward points, gift cards, and birthday and anniversary emails will be honored there, the company said.
