Body Of Woman Who Died Of Overdose Found In New Port Richey Hotel

A man is in custody after admitting to Seminole tribe police that he left a woman who died of an overdose in a New Port Richey hotel.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — A man is in custody after admitting to Seminole tribe police that he left a woman who died of an overdose in a New Port Richey hotel.

According to New Port Richey police, on Wednesday at 8 p.m., Seminole tribe police contacted New Port Richey police to report they'd arrested David Citpak for possessing a stolen vehicle.

When he was taken into custody, Citpak told police that he left a woman who had died of a drug overdose at the La Casa Inn, 6523 U.S. 19, New Port Richey.

New Port Richey police discovered the woman's body inside a room at the hotel and are investigating the circumstances of her death. Criminal charges against Citpak are pending, said police.
