Brooksville Man Charged With DUI, Battering Deputy, Fleeing: Troopers
An 18-year-old Brooksville man was arrested at 2:14 a.m. Monday after being accused of battering a Pasco County sheriff's deputy.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — An 18-year-old Brooksville man was arrested at 2:14 a.m. Monday after evading Pasco County sheriff's deputies in a white pickup truck on Trouble Creek Road after being accused of battering a deputy.
The sheriff's office requested help from the Florida Highway Patrol, which intercepted Juelius Austin Matusiak on State Road 54 at Roward Road and performed a PIT maneuver to stop him.
He was charged with two counts of aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, driving under the influence and fleeing and eluding.
