The Hacienda Hotel is the gem at the heart of our city. Its history and origin is both captivating and romantic. I can only imagine what it must have been like to walk through its doors in the 1920’s and 30’s. I would like to see it restored to its glory as a small hotel with a nice restaurant or even a Bed and Breakfast style establishment.
The city needs to sell its vacant properties and we need to do a better job taking care of them and marketing them to potential buyers. Until we are able to sell our properties, we should be taking care of each and every one of them just like a responsible homeowner takes care of his or her home.
