My vision for the Hacienda Hotel is a place that people will take pride in. I envision it being the most beautiful structure on the west side of Pasco County. I would love for it to be the hub of the Sims Park area.
First Baptist Church Site - The site has been zoned as residential and I am ok with that. I think it would be nice to see condos there maybe even with some retail on the bottom. I strongly believe that this should be done by the private sector, in the meantime I think it could be a nice place for a dog park or place for carnivals and such.
Post Office - I love this space. I used to attend Sunday School here and always thought the history was amazing. I would love to see a business incubator project started here by the Pasco Economic Development Council similar to the project in Dade City. This could be a great place for new entreprenurers to get help starting their business. This idea combined with a revised permitting process I believe would make New Port Richey even more inviting for businesses.
