Deputies: Bank Robber Arrested

Thomas Rhoden is accused of robbing two banks in Pasco and was found at the Travel Inn in New Port Richey.

A man suspected of robbing two banks in Pasco County was arrested Thursday in New Port Richey.

Thomas Rhoden, 37,  was found at the Travel Inn at 7532 U.S. 19 after his truck was spotted at a nearby Hess station.

Rhoden is suspected in the Oct. 10 robbery of the Sunshine State Federal Credit Union at 36450 Eiland Blvd. in Zephyrhills and the Oct. 17 robbery of the Bank of America at 12935 U.S. 19 in Hudson.

He was found at around 4:15 p.m. today, Oct. 18, and is being booked into the Land O' Lakes jail.
