Drivers Incapacitated After Moon Lake Road Crash
The drivers were taken to Bayfront Medical Center.

Two drivers were flown to a hospital with incapacitating injuries May 19 after their vehicles crashed into each other on Moon Lake Road.
Daniel Johnson, owho lives on Oldham Road in Port Richey, was driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee north on Moon Lake Road south of Belle Haven Drive around 7 p.m. Thursday.
Cynthia Miller, who resides on Jungle Street in Moon Lake, was driving a Ford pickup south on Moon Lake.

Johnson pulled onto a grass shoulder on the east side of the road and began to make a U-Turn. The vehicle traveled into Miller’s path. The front end of the Ford pickup hit the left side of the Cherokee.
The two were airlifted by Bayflite to Bayfront Medical Center. Johnson was charged with making an improper, unsafe or prohibited u-turn.
