Florida Highway Patrol Troopers say a motorcyclist, who was not wearing his helmet, was killed

A car vs. motorcycle crash at Trinity Blvd and Tamarind Blvd that left the motorcyclist dead and set both vehicles aflame has shut down part of Trinity Blvd. The closure started at 4 p.m. and the Florida Highway Patrol expects it to last until about 7 p.m. The dead motorcyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, has not been identified. The driver of the car, a 2008 Honda Accord, has been taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Return to Patch for more details.
