Five Things to Know for the July 4th Weekend

Celebrate your independence with our suggestions.

1.     We could be see relief from rain this weekend.The National Weather Service predicts a 20 percent chance of rain through Monday morning, rising to 30 percent in the afternoon on July Fourth. Read more details here.

2.     Pasco County still has a burn ban, but are exempt. Feel free to light up the night in your backyard.

3.     See fireworks for free July Fourth at 9:15 p.m. Monday at Waterfront Park, 8119 Old Post Road, Port Richey.

4.     Or drive over to Dade City on Monday for fireworks and live entertainment at . The festivities start at 4 p.m. at the Pasco County Fairgrounds, but fireworks begin at 9:15. Admission costs $5 for adults. Parking costs $5. Children 12 and younger enter free.
