1. Qualifying for city elections in New Port Richey officially begins Tuesday. We’ll be monitoring who enters the race for mayor to keep you updated.

2. We’re rolling out more Valentine’s Day coverage. Check back, lovers, for more info on how to make the most of the holiday.

3.  We’re continuing coverage of volunteers and business people in the community. Among the people you will meet this week?  A man who once built docks and now build cribs, a real estate agent who offers her perspective on the housng industry and a student raising money to rock for autism awareness.

4. The New Port Richey Community Redevelopment Agency will be meeting Tuesday. It's going to be giving its financial forecast for the next five years. Spoiler Alert: It's not looking great over these next few years. Greater New Port Richey Main Street will also give its report for last quarter.  The meeting starts at 7 p.m. in the City Council chambers in City Hall.

5.  On Friday, Vincent Monticciolo provides free dental care to the community from his office at 4546 Grand Blvd.  This year, the office is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and more than 500 people are expected to be in attendance, along with state legislators and, possibly, local dignitaries.
