How about a blast from the past? is holding an opening reception for a photo gallery of the 2004 season of the Savannah Sand Gnats minor league baseball team, shot by University of South Florida student Joseph Gamble. The reception will be in the Alric Pottberg Library on campus from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The gallery will run at that location from today through May 12.

3. The New Port Richey Parks and Recreation Department is holding its Cotee River Cleanup this Saturday, April 16.  Volunteers will meet up at the Sims Park Boat Ramp at 8 a.m. First 100 to arrive get a free t-shirt. The event lasts until 11 a.m.
