5.     The New Port Richey Community Redevelopment Agency will meet at 7 p.m. in city council chambers Tuesday to decide if it wants to move forward with a new proposed plan for redevelopment. Why should you care? The redevelopment agency, which oversees redevelopment in most of the city, is on the brink of becoming a debt service fund. The CRA Strategic Redevelopment Action Plan is supposed to provide a guiding vision on how to move forward. The plan suggests uses for several downtown properties and key sites in the city. The meeting will be preceded by a work session at 5:30 p.m.
