Five Things You Should Know Today

We're halfway through the week. But there's still so much to know.

1.     Pasco County Schools released yesterday a school-by-school list of what jobs are being cut as part of this year’s round of layoffs. Find the story later today on Patch.

2.     Today will be sunny, with temperatures reaching a high near 87. Expect a southeast wind blowing between 6 and 8 m.p.h.

3.     New Port Richey’s public officials cut the ribbon yesterday on phase II of Railroad Square, a $427,000+ project funded by Penny for Pasco and a Community Development Block Grant.
