1.     We’re in for a scorcher today. The National Weather Service forecasts a mostly sunny day with temperatures reaching near 91 degrees. It could feel as hot as 99 thanks to the heat index. We could also be  in for isolated showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m.

2.     The New Port Richey City Council is meeting at 7 p.m. at City Hall today to discuss a $1.683 million sewer project, among other issues. Read more about the meeting here.
