Five Things You Shouldn't Have Missed

Here are some of the stories we featured from May 1-May 7.

1.     was killed by U.S. forces on May 1, and current and former residents of New Port Richey and surrounding neighborhoods shared their thoughts.  And two parents whose son was taken from them in Iraq reflect on what it means for them .

2.      The made a historic run for the regional high school baseball championship. After wining by one run in the quarterfinals (Read more ), they lost by the same in the semifinals (story ). Good show, Mustangs. 

3.     The New Port Richey City Council resurrected the city’s Environmental Board advisory committee Tuesday, May 2. See the story .
