It’s going to be a busy week in West Pasco. We’re here to make sure you don’t miss a moment.

1.     In its first baseball game of the season, River Ridge High School will play Hernando High School. The game takes place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Hernando High, 700 Bell Ave., Brooksville, Fl.

2.     At its regular meeting Tuesday, the will consider replacing the carpet at the for the first time in 20 years and address a bid for the city’s upcoming street improvement project. At a work session beforehand, the council will discuss the status and budget of the New Port Richey Recreation and Aquatics Center, which opened in 2007.

3.     Qualifying for mayoral elections ends Tuesday at noon.  Let’s see what happens.  Right now, the only candidate to apply for mayor of New Port Richey, the only open position, is , the city's former deputy mayor and Parks and Recreation Department director.

4.     The s holding its 2011 Business Development Week Banquet and Business of the Year Award Ceremony on Thursday at b. The event takes place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
