Gypsy Star Releases New Single, 'Dancing To The Beat Of Your Heart'

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — Dynamic, multi-genre band, Gypsy Star celebrates the release of their catchy, new, upbeat dance song, “Dancing To The Beat Of Your Heart."

Based in New Port Richey, Gypsy Star was formed in 2006 and is led by the creative spirit of composer, guitarist, singer Billy Keen and features the soul-stirring vocal prowess of his partner lead singer, lyricist Belinda Brodsky, who plays an array of hand percussion.

The band’s uniquely talented lineup consists of world-class accordionist/keyboardist Joli Rome; the versatile stylings of Robert Strickland on upright and electric bass; and dancer Kimara Lee who performs folkloric and gypsy-style dance and adds harmonies and percussion to their sound.

Some shows include the masterful beats and showmanship of drummer Steve Brodsky. Together, they are a gifted, musical collective of multi-instrumentalists performing all original songs with layers of rhythmic texture, sultry vocals, lush harmonies and a fiery dancer.
