Haunted Chiropractor's Office Pops Up in Pasco
It's all part of an annual tradition to kick off the holiday season.
Going to the doctor’s office can be a scary experience. It can also be awesome.
Dr. Kathleen Anderson, a chiropractic physician, has gone all out for Halloween.
She’s pulled the skeletons, rats, zombies, ghouls and various other unspeakable things out of the closet. Now, they’re occupying the reception area of her office at 6939 Ridge Road, Port Richey.

There are zombies. A skeleton greets patients to her office. There are disembodied jelly ears, tongues and other body parts on the receptionist’s desk. Behind cobwebs, a robotic Regan, the girl possessed in The Exorcist, sits up and spins her head in unnatural ways.
There’s even a zombie on the floor that crawls right at visitors, a girl eating brains by the back wall, a maniac in a straightjacket and mask, a man hanging from the ceiling and spiders in the hallways.

“Most people walk in here and say it’s awesome,” Anderson said.
None of the creatures are real, but many are robotic and move.
Anderson has been in practice 31 years and is enthusiastic about the holidays. She’s been collecting decorations over the years and still has her first Halloween office decoration: a giant, fat rat. She and her staff dress in Halloween outfits and will be dressing in costume in the lead up to the holiday.
“It’s fun. We get a kick out of it. And the patients absolutely love it," she said.
Patients sometimes dress up, too. One longtime patient dressed up as Uncle Fester from The Addams Family.
The Halloween festivities kick off the holiday season at Anderson’s Office. Next month, it’s time for Thanksgiving decorations, and Anderson has a turkey costume for the occasion.
Actually, she has a closet full of costumes and a storage area full of decorations. Many of them are Christmas decorations, and her office will be staffed with elves come that holiday.
