Hit-And-Run Driver Sought In Death Of Bicyclist On Little Road

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol is seeking information on a hit-and-run driver that killed a bicyclist in Sunday.

According to troopers, around 7:30 p.m., a 46-year-old Port Richey woman was riding a bicycle south on the paved sidewalk along the east side of Little Road as a vehicle was headed east on Flint Street.

Troopers said the vehicle and the bicyclist collided at the intersection of Flint Street and Little Road, and the driver of the vehicle fled the scene.

The woman was taken to the hospital where she died.

The highway patrol said there is no description of the vehicle or the driver. Anyone with information is asked to contact the FHP by calling *FHP. Those with information may also call Crime Stoppers at **TIPS.
