Holiday Man Killed In 2-Car Crash In Pasco County

HOLIDAY, FL — A Holiday man died early Saturday morning following a two-car crash on Route 19 in Pasco County.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 2:10 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Route 19.

Police said a Kia Sorento driven by a 41-year-old Holiday man was traveling southbound in the center lane north of Tahitian Gardens Circle when it drifted into the inside lane and struck a Honda Odyssey driven by a 24-year-old Crystal River woman.

Following the collision, the Kia came to a stop in a ditch along the highway shoulder. The driver was taken to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The driver of the Honda was not injured, police said.
