Holiday Man Killed Walking Across U.S. 19

A 20-year-old Holiday man was killed after being struck by a car while crossing U.S. 19 Monday.

HOLIDAY, FL — A 20-year-old Holiday man was killed after being struck by a car while crossing U.S. 19 Monday.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 2:56 a.m., a 62-year-old Ocala man was driving a car north on U.S. 19 near Sunray Drive when the Holiday man walked into the path of the car.

The Holiday man died at the scene.
