Hurricane Debris To Be Picked Up At Curb By Pasco Through Friday

PASCO COUNTY, FL — Pasco County Solid Waste and Resource Recovery is continuing to collect storm-related debris from Hurricane Idalia in unincorporated areas west of U.S. 19 from Green Key to Aripeka. Residents should have their debris set out by the curb by Friday, Sept. 15.

There’s no need to schedule debris pickup. However, if you’d like to provide your address and the type of debris you need collected, click here and enter your information.

Regular garbage will be picked up by private haulers on regular trash days.

As a reminder, separate and place all debris at the curb or roadside, being careful not to block fire hydrants, mailboxes, electrical boxes or any other structures. Don’t place debris in bags, and make sure appliances are empty with the doors secured or removed. Contractor-generated construction debris will not be collected.

Pasco County Solid Waste is also waiving tipping fees for customer self-disposal in storm-impacted areas through Sept. 15. Regular landfill disposal fees will be reinstated Saturday, Sept. 16. Waived tipping fees don’t apply to contractors.

You can take debris to one of the drop-off sites Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.:

  • West Pasco Resource Recovery, 14606 Hays Road, Spring Hill
  • East Pasco Transfer Station, 9626 Handcart Road, Dade City
