Cat 1 Hurricane Finds New Home With Pasco County Sheriff's Deputy
As Hurricane Ian made its way to the Gulf Coast, the storm couldn't prevent a Pasco County sheriff's deputy from rescuing a kitten in need.
HUDSON, FL — As Hurricane Ian made its way to the Gulf Coast, the storm couldn't prevent a Pasco County sheriff's deputy from rescuing an abandoned kitten.
The deputy was driving down U.S. 19 in Hudson when a kitten ran into the busy road. The deputy pulled over but, before he could scoop up the furry little guy, the frightened kitten scurried into the wheel well of his sheriff's patrol car.
Fellow deputies came along to watch his back as the deputy scooted beneath the vehicle and grabbed the kitten from its hiding place near the rear axle.
