Hurricane Housing Relief Applications Being Accepted In Pasco County
Hurricane Idalia disaster relief is available for low- and moderate-income customers whose homes were damaged due to the storm.

PASCO COUNTY, FL — Pasco County Community Development is accepting applications for Hurricane Idalia disaster relief for low- and moderate-income customers whose homes were damaged due to the storm.
Residents can download an application by clicking here.
Applications can be submitted in person at the Pasco County Community Development Office in Port Richey, by mailing them to Pasco County Community Development, Attention: Hurricane Idalia Disaster Relief, 8610 Galen Wilson Blvd., Port Richey, 34654, or emailing CommunityDev@MyPasco.net.

Relief funds can be used for:
- Rental Assistance — Rent payments, deposits and utility deposits ($20,000 maximum)
- Home Repairs – Roofs, floors, walls, electrical and other items ($25,000 maximum)
To be eligible, the household income must be at or below 120 percent of the Area Median Income. These thresholds are listed on the application.

Pasco County Emergency Management is alerting storm victims that Federal Emergency Management Agency workers are canvassing West Pasco County neighborhoods to encourage those affected by Hurricane Idalia to sign up for federal assistance.
FEMA staff are wearing official identification and will provide contact information for verification.
There is no fee to apply for or to receive disaster assistance from FEMA, the U.S. Small Business Administration or the state of Florida. Federal, state and county government employees will never ask residents for cash payments.
Individuals and households who sustained losses from Hurricane Idalia in Columbia, Gilchrist, Hernando, Jefferson, Madison and Pasco counties can apply for FEMA Individual Assistance.
To apply for FEMA disaster assistance, go online to DisasterAssistance.gov, use the FEMA app for smartphones or call 800-621-3362. Help is available in most languages. Lines are open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week.
Disaster assistance may include financial help for temporary lodging, basic home repairs and other disaster-related expenses.
