Keep Your Pets Safe During Fireworks

Fireworks are great fun for most of us. Big, colorful explosions in the sky. With all the fun we're having, it is important to remember that our furry friends might get a little scared.
Some pets can get very frightened during fireworks, but Pasco County offers some things you can do to make your friend more secure. 

1. Know when fireworks are taking place so you can prepare.
2. Keep your pets microchips and tags up to date in case they do run during the fireworks.
3. Create a safe zone for your pet by darkening a room, blocking out the noise with a tv or radio and keeping familiar things near by.
