Man, 23, Shot Up Dad’s Truck, Deputies Say

Pasco County deputies are looking for a New Port Richey man in connection with a Monday assault.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help tracking down a man deputies say got into a fight with his father on Monday that ended with a bang.

According to the agency, the argument occurred between Casey Starks, 23, and his father, Jeffrey Starks, at a home in the 3500 block of Springfield Drive. Casey is accused of pulling out a .22 caliber handgun during the fight and pointing it at his father, according to an email from the sheriff’s office.

Casey, however, moved the gun away from his dad and pointed it at the man’s truck instead. He then “fired one round, striking the truck,” the email said.
