He was arrested Thursday for an incident that occurred in March.

A New Port Richey man was arrested Thursday, July 12, after deputies say he poured urine on his live-in girlfriend's head and tried to strangle her during an incident that occured at 9414 Loras Street in Port Richey on March 27.
The couple were engaged in an argument, and when the dispute escalated, Jeremy Christian Prechtl, 31, pushed the woman out of their trailer, "grabbing her by the arms and throwing her on the ground," according to a Pasco County complaint affidavit.
Prechtl then poured "a jar of urine" on the woman's head and grabbed her throat with both hands, cutting off her air supply, the report stated. The woman was able to escape to family members after biting Prechtl on the chest, the report stated.
