Man Accused of Stealing Alcohol from Hooters
Police say he broke into the restaurant and took two cases of beverages.

A New Port Richey man stands accused of stealing alcoholic beverages from Hooters.
On Saturday, Mason Anthony Fanter, 19, cut the lock on the cooler at the Hooters at 5336 Treadway Drive, in Port Richey, and took two cases of alcoholic beverages, each containing 24 bottles, according to a Port Richey Police Department arrest report.
Investigation revealed the screen of an eastern window of the restaurant had been cut out and the metal window covering had been pushed in. Surveillance camera footage led to a positive identification by a New Port Richey police officer.

Cases that matched the ones that went missing from Hooters were found behind Fanter’s home.
Fante,r of 7230 Royal Palm Drive, was arrested Monday and charged with burglary of an unoccupied dwelling, criminal mischief and petit theft. He remained in the Land O' lakes jail Tuesday morning in lieu of $25,300 bail.
