Man Broke into Home, Molested 5-Year-Old Girl, Deputies Say

He faces charges of burglary and capital sexual battery.

A New Port Richey man is behind bars after Pasco deputies say he broke into a home and sexually battered a 5-year-old girl.

According to a Pasco County complaint affidavit, Wade Christopher Greene, 48, entered the residence sometime between 9 p.m. Nov. 28 and 6:30 a.m. Nov. 29. The girl was awakened by Greene, who removed her underwear, then "digitially penetrated her vagina then licked his finger," the report stated.

The girl notified someone else in the house, who then discovered the front door ajar and Greene sitting in a chair outside the home with that person's cellphone in his possession, according to the report.
