The Hacienda

The Hacienda, 5621 Main St., New Port Richey, will host a Mother's Day brunch on Sunday, May 14 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The historic venue will offer a four-course dining experience that will include a choice of Mediterranean quiche with goat's cheese, spinach, kalamata olives, sundried tomatoes, peppers and onions garnished with crushed cashews and walnuts; maple Ancho chicken breast served with purple smashed potatoes, Swiss rainbow chard and chicken jus; pesto and Prosciutto Benedict served with avocado hollandaise and home-fried potatoes; potato-encrusted grilled salmon with an herbed potato crust served with heirloom tomatoes, broccolini and a classic burre blanc sauce; petite beef tender served with wild mushroom risotto and snap peas, finished with a rich cherry port redux; and spaghetti squash tossed with kale and a wild mushroom cream and topped with seasoned kale chips.

Catches Waterfront Grille

Catches Waterfront Grille, 7811 Bayview St., Port Richey, is inviting families to treat Mom for a Mother's Day Buffet on the Water from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

There will be a raw bar with peel-and-eat shrimp, a chef-run carving station with slow-roasted steam of pork, entrees including herb-crusted flounder, mustard honey-glazed salmon, cranberry chutney turkey breast, shrimp alfredo and sweet Thai chili pork shanks.

Herschel's Scratch Kitchen, 5749 Main St., New Port Richey, is serving up brunch until 4 p.m. on Mother's Day, May 14.

Moms can enjoy Herschel's Andouille and four-cheese grit skillets as well as the shrimp and grits skillet with smoked applewood bacon, diced andouille sausage and tomato with a white wine creole cream sauce; and corned beef hash with two eggs any style, toast and breakfast potatoes or grits.

Herschel's also offers five types of eggs Benedict including chicken Benedict with seasoned buttermilk battered fried chicken breast, poached eggs, homemade jalapeno cheese sauce on a biscuit; Cajun Benedict on a biscuit with diced andouille sausage, poached eggs, topped with Creole cream sauce and a grilled shrimp; and Farm House Benedict with poached eggs, fried green tomatoes, avocado, hollandaise on an English muffin.

On the sweet side, Herschel's serves up banana and Nutella waffles, stuff French toast with mixed berries and cream cheese stuffing and a sweet potato Belgian waffle topped with caramel drizzle, pecans and whipped cream.

Gill Dawg, 5419 Treadway Drive, Port Richey, will host a Mother's Day bruch Sunday, May 14 with two seatings: 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

There will be a bottomless mimosa and bloody Mary Bar for $20 and live music.

The brunch menu will include a fresh fruit display, mini bagels and assorts cream cheese, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage links, chicken and waffle sliders with a syrupy glaze, biscuits and sausage gravy, steamed dill new potatoes, rice pilaf, pan-seared mahi with tomato basil butter, herb-roasted chicken breast with lemon caper sauce and shrimp scampi over linguine.
