HERNANDO COUNTY, FL — A motorcyclist was killed Saturday night in a three-vehicle crash on U.S. 301 in Hernando County, the Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release.

The 42-year-old Webster man was heading south on the highway when a Kia Sorento, driven by a 66-year-old Dade City man and heading north on U.S. 301, turned left into the motorcycle’s path and hit it just after 7 p.m.

The motorcyclist was thrown from his Harley Davidson and collided with a Jeep Cherokee, driven by a 44-year-old Ridge Manor woman, that was also in the left turn lane, FHP said.
