Motorcyclist Killed In I-75 Crash: FL Highway Patrol
A Tampa man died after being thrown from his motorcycle in a crash with an SUV on Interstate 75 Wednesday afternoon, FHP said.
PASCO COUNTY, FL — A Tampa man is dead after being thrown from his motorcycle in a Wednesday afternoon crash with an SUV on Interstate 75 in Pasco County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The crash happened just north of State Road 56 around 2:30 p.m. The motorcyclist and SUV driver, a 25-year-old Wesley Chapel woman, were both heading north on I-75 at the time of the crash.
After the 37-year-old motorcyclist overtook and hit the back of the SUV, he was thrown from his vehicle, FHP said. He was declared dead at the scene.
