Motorcyclist Killed, Passenger Injured In Crash At U.S. 19 Intersection: FL Highway Patrol
A motorcyclist was killed and his passenger seriously injured at a U.S. 19 intersection in Pasco County, FL Highway Patrol said.
PASCO COUNTY, FL — A motorcyclist was killed and his passenger seriously injured in a Thursday morning on U.S. 19, the Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release.
The 33-year-old Port Richey man was heading east on New York Avenue on his Honda CBR900 motorcycle just after 11:30 a.m.
At the intersection of U.S. 19, an 80-year-old Hudson woman driving an Infiniti M35 turned left into the motorcyclist’s path, FHP said.

The motorcyclist was brought to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
His passenger, a 32-year-old New Port Richey woman, suffered serious injuries and was brought to an area hospital, FHP said.

The car’s driver suffered minor injuries in the crash.
