Native American Music, Dance, Crafts Highlighted At Chasco Fiesta

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — Alligator wrestling, native dances and tribal drummers will be among the authentic Native American entertainment and educational programs featured during the 10-day Chasco Fiesta, which continues through April 3.

This year, the program includes world champion hoop dancing, Aztec Fire Dancers, alligator wrestling and a reptile demonstration, a Native American award-winning singers and songwriters, drummers and dancers from many tribal backgrounds along with booths featuring Native American arts and crafts.

The Native American-themed festival will take place at Sims Park in New Port Richey at the amphitheater. For a $5 entry fee, attendees receive full fiesta event access. Children age 12 and under are admitted for free.
