New Port Richey, FL — Without community leaders, New Port Richey wouldn’t hum along nearly as smoothly as it does. We’d miss their contributions in big and small ways.

How do you know this community leader?

He is President of the local museum, Board of Directors and several other non-profits in West Pasco County.

What does this community leader do?

He has volunteered his time for over 20 years on many non-profits that preserve history and help families, the elderly and children. He is also President of Pasco Fine Arts and the New Port Richey Fireman’s Pension Board. He was Deputy Mayor for two years and on the City Council for 9 years.

Why do you believe the community leader should be recognized or honored?

He is 81 and still going strong in his commitment to helping his community.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the community hero?

He started his career as a local singer in his band and moved into recording and engineering music. He has worked with many of the great entertainers in the music industries in the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s. He is a very kind and humble man.
