New Port Richey Man, 66, Killed In Motorcycle Crash
A 66-year-old New Port Richey man was killed in a Wednesday night crash on Moon Lake Road.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a Wednesday night crash that left a 66-year-old man from New Port Richey dead.
According to the agency, Lynnette Royal Kilchriss, 58, of New Port Richey was heading south on Moon Lake Road in a Mercedes around 10 p.m. July 26. At that time, Allen Joseph Spriggs was riding north on Moon Lake Road, near the intersection with Coronado Way, on a motorcycle.

Troopers say Kilchriss turned left into the path of the oncoming motorcycle. Spriggs, a highway patrol report said, was thrown from his bike upon impact.
Spriggs was taken to a local hospital, but died later from his injuries, the report said.

The crash remains under investigation with charges pending its outcome. Troopers have said that alcohol is not a suspected factor.
