Florida Highway Patrol troopers say Greg S. McKay, 50, was ejected from a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle when the bike struck a 1993 Chevy Silverado pickup that crossed into its path at Decubellis and Town Center Roads in Pasco County. The driver of the Silverado, Kenneth C. Nitz, 26, of Hudson, was not injured, troopers report. His passenger, Alleana Booth, 36, of New Port Richey, sustained minor injuries but did not go to the hospital.
According to troopers, Nitz was turning left onto Town Center Road from the southbound left turn lane of Decubellis when he crossed into the path of McKay, who was driving in the outside northbound lane of Decubellis.
