New Port Richey Reacts To Zombie Apocalypse
Why do you think the lines between fantasy and reality have blurred as of late?

Eariler this week, we asked you to weigh in on the trend of the so-called Zombie Apocalypse. We got some good comments from our 19 Patch sites around Tampa Bay.
News of the so-called Zombie Apocalypse has become so widespread recently, even the U.S. Centers for Disease Control got into the act, trying to quell fears. That agency says there’s no cause for concern.
“(The) CDC does not know of a virus or condition that would reanimate the dead or one that would present zombie-like symptoms,” David Daigle, a spokesman for the CDC told The Huffington Post.

As for what New Port Richey said about the Zombie Apocalypse, New Port Richey Patch user said, "What needs to be done is for the cdc or whoever needs to take the bath salt and all that spice off the shelves its making people go nuts. they need to take it away and there wont be so many people eating others."
wrote, "This is hilarious! People are NOT catching "zombie" cooties and eating people for midnight snacks.Those that are eating people's faces off .. and mutilating themselves .. are criminally insane and mentally ill. It's too easy to blame bath salts and this zombie "crapola" when it's nothing but severe mental illness. The CDC was stupid for making a statement about "zombies" .. for Pete's sake, what's wrong with them?"
