Pasco Dems Oppose All Amendments on Nov. Ballot
The party wants people to vote down all 11 ballot amendments.

The following is a message from the Pasco Democratic Party
At the September Pasco Democratic Executive Committee meeting, members voted to oppose all eleven amendments on the November ballot.
“The Republican-led legislature continues to attempt to reduce the funds available to the counties for citizen services, to deny Floridians the benefits of the Affordable Health Care Act, and ignore the rights to privacy, the separation of church and state, and judicial independence,” Chair Lynn Lindeman said.
The Pasco DEC recommends voters ensure they vote the whole ballot with a “NO” on each amendment. Skipping an amendment is equivalent to a “YES” vote as the number of votes cast on each determines the 60 percent threshold needed to pass.
The Pasco County Democratic Party meets monthly to conduct business on the second Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in USEP Union Hall, 21322 Lake Patience Road, Land O' Lakes, FL 34638. More information is available at pascodems.com or call 727-844-DEMS(3367).
