Pasco Deputies Report Flooded Roads, Power Lines Down In Nicole's Wake

​The Pasco County Government is offering an online tool to report storm damage following Hurricane Nicole.

PASCO COUNTY, FL —

Pasco County sheriff’s deputies are continuing to patrol the county as Tropical Storm Nicole traverses the state and are reporting flooded roads and downed trees and power lines.

The sheriff's office urges residents to stay home and off the roads Thursday.

  • Those who encounter a downed power line should never touch or drive over them because they could still be live.
  • Treat intersections with traffic lights that are out as four-way stops.
  • Don’t attempt to drive through flooded roadways. They may be deeper than expected or contain other unseen hazards. Just 6 inches of water can cause issues with a car, including loss of traction or stalling.

This is the fastest way to get help and schedule inspections with the county. Residents are encouraged to upload a photo, too.

Click on Report Damage & Debris to send information about the following non-emergency damages directly to assessment teams:

  • Structural damage to homes and businesses
  • Storm debris including downed trees and branches
  • Human needs including food, water, clothing and shelter

Residents can report damage:

  • By visiting the county's website, MyPasco.net
  • Clicking on this direct link, mypas.co/ReportDamage
  • Downloading the MyPasco App in the App Store or on Google Play
  • Calling customer service at 727-847-2411

This tool allows Pasco County to gather accurate community information to help the state of Florida and the Federal Emergency Management Agency determine if Pasco County has enough damages to seek federal financial assistance.
