PASCO COUNTY, FL — A longtime Pasco County Sheriff's Office K-9 has died at the age of 13.
Thor, a German shepherd partnered with Cpl. Johnny Rux, died July 12.
K-9 Thor started his career with the sheriff's office in 2009, working as a certified patrol K-9 and narcotics detection dog, until his retirement in 2018 at the age of 10.

He loved meeting the public, especially young children, but was all business when it was time to work. K9 Thor.
Following his retirement, Thor lived with the Rux family including four-legged siblings Scout and Hela, who currently works for the Pasco sheriff's office.
